Easter Sunday

We headed to my sister's house in Castaic for Easter Sunday. Here's Amanda getting ready to go. I couldn't get her to stand still and show off her cute Easter dress, so here's the back:



Hunting for Easter Eggs. You can tell they weren't really "hidden" very well :)

After about 10 minutes Amanda lost interest and found the sidewalk chalk. She preferred to "color". Here's Mike trying to coax her back to the egg hunt with some candy.

But she wouldn't have any of it. She preferred to color with the chalk and play with the doggies!

Hoppy Easter!

Today we dyed Easter Eggs for Amanda's first time (last year and the year before she was too young and probably wouldn't have been interested). I set it all up outside and put one of my old shirts over Amanda's clothes:



I did most of the work, but Amanda told me what colors to put the eggs in, and which ones to take out first. Then she put the stickers on them.

Afterwards, since she was already dressed for it and we were outside, I let her paint on the newspaper.

And she got the paint all over her hands of course:

I love... [insert anything here]

Amanda has started in a "I love...[everything]" stage lately. She will tell you she loves just about anything and everything. I caught her one night on video saying she loves everyone. Enjoy!
